JANUARY 2026

January 5th (Monday) Studio 237 resumes teaching music lessons for children. Contact the Studio when you are ready to start. Current studio students will resume at their normally scheduled lesson times from the previous semester. Let us know if you need a different lesson time.

New students are always welcome to begin music lessons for children in January and onward. To get started, please create your account in our database by registering online at the registration tab. After creating your account, call the studio to schedule at 850.231.3199.

JANUARY 19th, Monday: Studio Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

FEBRUARY 16th, Monday: Studio Closed for President's Day

MARCH 16th (Monday 16th thru March Friday 20th) Studio Closed for Spring Break

APRIL 3rd, Friday: Studio Closed

MAY 16th, Saturday: RECITAL at Christ The King Episcopal Church, 480 N County Hwy 393, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459

MAY 29th, Friday: Last Day of Spring Semester Classes. On break until AUGUST 3RD, Monday.

October 18, 2026 (Saturday), Sonatina Piano Spectacular sponsored by the Choctaw Bay Music Club. Students perform one movement from a Sonatina or Sonata by memory. Two Judges evaluate and provide rating/comment sheets. Awards given. Northwest Florida State College, Music Building, Tyler Recital Hall, 100 College Blvd, Niceville, FL

February 28, 2026 (Saturday) National Federation of Music Clubs Festival: This event is for students taking music lessons for children with Lisa Cyr who are willing to do extra personal practice at home and are planning to be prepared for a live performance of two songs (memorized) before two judges and a small group of students/parents on Saturday, Feb 28th, 2026. The event will be in Niceville, FL at Northwest Florida State College.
