Guitars and Ukulele: Recommendations
Acoustic Guitar for children
We recommend a 3/4 Junior size guitar for children around the age of 7 to 12 depending on the size of the child. The brand we recommend is a Yamaha JRFG Junior 3/4 Size acoustic guitar which can be viewed on Amazon at Junior Guitar 3/4 Yamaha
It is suggested you also purchase a soft carry case/bag in which to protect/store/transport the instrument. Those can also be found on Amazon.
It is always best to check with your teacher first before purchasing an instrument, to their recommendations and for a sizing.

If you are seeking a beginner's guitar for your child age 9 to around 12, we recommend the Yamaha APXFG JR-1 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar. It is a smaller sized guitar with quality.
