August 3rd (Monday) Studio 237 resumes teaching lessons. Contact the Studio when you are ready to start.
Current studio students who want to resume at their normally scheduled lesson time should try to begin during the week of August 4th (Monday) or asap.
New students are always welcome to start lessons in August and onward. To get started, please create your account in our data base by registering online at the registration tab. SEPTEMBER 4th (Friday) and 7th (Monday) : Studio Closed for Labor Day
OCTOBER 12th and 13th (Monday and Tuesday: Studio 237 Music Lessons is closed.
NOVEMBER
Nov 11th (Wednesday) closed for Veterans Day
Nov 23rd (Monday) thru (Friday), Nov 27th closed for Thanksgiving Break
DECEMBER WINTER BREAK: Dec 22nd (Monday) thru January 4th (Sunday). Studio closed for Holiday Break

Students who will be performing in the below events should place these dates on their calendar:
October 17, 2026 (Saturday), Sonatina Piano Spectacular
- sponsored by the Choctaw Bay Music Club
- Students perform one movement from a Sonatina or Sonata by memory. Two Judges evaluate and provide rating/comment sheets. Awards given.
- Northwest Florida State College, Music Building, Tyler Recital Hall, 100 College Blvd, Niceville, FL
RECITAL: December 5, 2026 (Saturday) at Christ the King Episcopal Church, Santa Rosa Beach, FL
February 27, 2027 (Saturday) National Federation of Music Clubs Festival:
This event is for piano students of Lisa Cyr who are willing to do extra personal practice at home and are planning to be prepared for a live performance (memorized) before two judges and a small group of students/parents on Saturday, Feb 27th , 2027. The event will be in Niceville, FL at Northwest Florida State College .
