Ray Cyr along with his wife Lisa are owners and administrators of Studio 237.

Drumming since 1961 his career began playing on a bass drum and then a tenor drum mastering the rudiments marching  in a Drum and Bugle Corp known as The Scarlet Cadets out of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine. Three years later Ray started playing in various bands on a drum set. Professionally performing in 17 bands from Maine to California, Ray produced 3 and recorded on 8 albums playing countless concerts in over 30 states and Canada. Ray has settled in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida with his musically talented family since 1997.  Teaching drum lessons has been a joy for many years.  All 3 of Ray and Lisa's children are drummers and also play other instruments. Trained over a 100 drummers how to play marching band, rock, blues, boogie, jazz, dixie, gospel, swing and big band music never been less than exciting. Ray has played 100's of concerts on stage with the top music artists of the 60's, 70's, and 80's music scene. All ages are invited to learn drumming on one of Ray's five drum sets (adult and child size) in our studio.​
