MAY
Studio 237 will be open until Saturday, May 31st
To be clear, we are closed on Saturday
JUNE
Scott Gilmore will be teaching 4 weeks during the month of June. Call Studio 237 to schedule.
This is a great opportunity to try a new instrument such as: guitar, ukulele, song-writing, or beginner piano. Scheduling is flexible.
JULY
Studio 237 Music Lessons is closed.
AUGUST 4TH
Lessons Begin Monday 8/4/2025. Your lesson time will remain the same until further notice.
Current studio students who want to resume at their normally scheduled lesson time should try to begin during the week of August 4th (Monday) or asap.
New students are always welcome to start lessons in August. To get started, please create your account in our data base by registering online at the registration tab . Students who will be performing in the below events should place these dates on their calendar:
October 18, 2025, Sonatina Piano Spectacular
- sponsored by the Choctaw Bay Music Club
- Students perform one movement from a Sonatina or Sonata by memory. Two Judges evaluate and provide rating/comment sheets. Awards given.
- Northwest Florida State College, Music Building, Tyler Recital Hall, 100 College Blvd, Niceville, FL
December, 2025 STUDENT WINTER SEMESTER RECITAL
- Seagrove Baptist Church Sanctuary
- 4915 E County Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459
- Two performance groups to choose from. Times TBA
- Open to the community to attend for free
February TBA, 2026 (Sat.) NFMC Festival:
This event is for piano students of Lisa Cyr who are willing to do extra personal practice at home and are planning to be prepared for a live performance (memorized) before two judges and a small group of students/parents on Feb 15th , 2025. The event will be in Niceville, FL at NWFSC.
